News - Festival of Europe: A familiar tune for Tipik!
After organising the 2010 event, Tipik has once again been called on to work with the European Parliament and organise Open Day at the European institutions on Saturday 7 May 2011.
Between visits to official buildings, information sessions on the daily work of institutions based in Brussels and exploring the ‘Volunteers' Village’ (hosting associations and organisations involved in voluntary work, this year’s central theme), as well as fun activities, dancing and concerts for people of all ages, the event will stay true to its leitmotif: celebrate citizenship!
Following the success of the Flash mob in 2010, the ‘must see’ activity this time round will be the ‘Giant Euro-Karaoke’. The public is invited to join together and sing along to the biggest hits from the French and English-speaking world, as voted by them in the run-up to 7 May.
