News - Tipik launches design competition for the issuing of a commemorative coin
Last week, Tipik launched the “10 Years of the Euro” competition, a project which took less than a month to produce.
The competition is being organised by DG Economic and Financial Affairs to mark the tenth anniversary of the introduction of the euro. Competition entrants can suggest a design for the two-euro commemorative coin, millions of copies of which will be struck and then introduced on 1 January 2012.
The project specifically included the production of the site’s graphic identity and its translation into 13 languages, as well as the recruitment of jury members and the administration of voting. Thanks to the speedy efforts of its web, graphics and linguistic departments, Tipik managed successfully to launch the competition website.
