News - Tipik passes its quality audit!
On the 24 and 25 of May Tipik hosted DNV for its first periodic audit following its recertification in 2011.
The audit took place over two days, enabling the auditor to meet several staff members to discuss a multitude of different aspects such as the quality management system (2012 aims, documentation, internal audits, job descriptions etc.), internal organisation, human resources management as well as project management (the auditor also attended a project launch meeting). The auditor was able to experience the positive dynamic at Tipik and praised the work done throughout the year, especially in terms of sub-contractor evaluation.
The priority area for this year- incident reports and incident follow-up- is an example of our attempt to implement the ISO standard on a daily basis in our work. We understand that describing incidents enables us to thoroughly analyse undesirable situations and to implement solutions in the short-, medium- and long-term to learn from our mistakes in order to avoid repeating them in a future project.
Tipik is a company committed to providing quality products and services and which is constantly improving: for this reason we are delighted to receive visits from experienced auditors. The audit allows us to take stock of our work and to ensure we are continually evolving and improving quality. The work is still going on!
