News - ‘Science: it’s a girl thing!’ in top 20 online resources for women in STEM
The ‘Science: it’s a girl thing!’ campaign has been ranked 19th on an international list of the ‘Top 40 Important Online Resources for Women in STEM’. Launched in June of this year, the campaign has already made its way into the 20 alongside such eminent resources such as Women@NASA and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ TechWomen.
‘Science: it’s a girl thing!’ encourages young women across Europe to consider careers in science and research. Tipik, in conjunction with and on behalf of the European Commission, is responsible for conceiving, developing and implementing an engaging website and an ever-expanding and active Facebook page.
