Question

How do you move more than 100 websites in 30 languages to a new content system in just 12 months?

Answer

Close teamwork between content, IT and translation experts in a project managed to the hour.

The European Commission's decision to change content management systems meant its European External Action Service was faced with a quite extraordinary challenge – improving their online presence in 30 languages within a non-negotiable deadline.

Tipik stepped in to help them bring the content of their web pages, and the system handling the site, up-to-date. Our writers and translators analysed, updated and translated content in over 30 languages whilst our IT team made sure existing and new content seamlessly transitioned from Documentum to Drupal.

Tight turn-around? Tipik helped our client to beat their own deadline by a fortnight thanks to skilled project management. The European External Action Service was able to pull the plug on their old content management system in complete confidence, knowing their new site was improved inside and out.
